Percolatin’ Blues / Frisky Feet

Published in 1926 as Percolatin’ Blues (and as Frisky Feet by Fowler as his alias Relphow Jones.) Three recordings embedded here in order of publication starting with Frisky Feet performed by Fowler’s Washboard Wonders. This song works just as well as a stomp in the hands of Fowler’s band(s) as it does as a blues-strut by Clara Smith and Fowler (at the piano.) Finally, in 1927 Fowler’s Favorites recorded the work again as a stomp with presumably Fowler on vocals.
